STK Steakhouse

STK is what happens when a steakhouse and a nightclub share a room. There is a DJ, the lighting is moody, and the energy climbs as the night goes on. The birthday order is the cake milkshake, which arrives topped with an actual slice of cake and sparklers. Tip: book a later seating for the party energy, an earlier one if you actually want to talk. Catch

You walk in through a tunnel of hanging flowers and the tone is set before you sit down. The dessert everyone comes for is the Hit Me, a chocolate sphere you crack open with a mallet while the table films it. Tip: mention the birthday when you book. They know how to make a moment of it. Sugar Factory

Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer

The calmer way to get the crazy milkshake photo. The burgers hold their own, and the CrazyShakes come piled with candy, cotton candy, and whole slices of cake. They added a line of over-the-top CrazySundaes this summer too. Tip: a great pick when you want the spectacle without a Strip steakhouse bill. SUSHISAMBA

The Mayfair Supper Club

My pick when you want dinner and a show without leaving your table. The room reopened in late 2025 with a brand-new fountainside production, and the flaming Baked Alaska makes a gorgeous birthday centerpiece. Eiffel Tower Restaurant

An elevator carries you up into the replica Eiffel Tower, and you dine above the Strip with the fountains going off right across the street. Classic French, romantic, and about as special-occasion as a room gets. Tip: end with the souffle and time dessert to a fountain show, and if anyone in your group wants the view without the full dinner, the tower also sells a separate viewing deck ticket. Top of the World

The dining room slowly revolves more than 800 feet up, so over one meal you get the Strip, the mountains, and the whole valley. Tip: a sunset reservation gives you daylight, dusk, and full neon before the check arrives. Mastro’s Ocean Club

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

Jean-Georges Steakhouse

Elegant, quiet enough to actually talk, and serious about its steaks and seafood. If you want upscale without club-night energy, this is the room. Strip House

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

José Andrés moved his playful meat palace to The Venetian in late 2025, and the new room fits it. Cotton candy foie gras, theatrical carving, and dishes built to make the table gasp. Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen

The Capital Grille

Clubby, classic steakhouse elegance with a terrace looking over the Strip and service that quietly nails the details. The cheesecake is iconic. Echo & Rig

Carmine’s

LAVO Italian Restaurant & Lounge

A party in restaurant form, with the famous one-pound meatball to pass around the table. Tip: the natural choice when the birthday dinner is rolling straight into a night out — pair it with a nightclub VIP entry and party bus if you want the rest of the night handled too. Fogo de Chão

Endless fire-roasted cuts carved at your table until you flip your card to red and surrender. The original on Flamingo now has a second multi-level location inside Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, opened in March 2026. Tip: pace yourself at the market table. The meat is the main event. Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas

A genuine German beer hall with live Bavarian bands, giant pretzels, and beer in liter steins. Birthday guests can get the famous paddle treatment in front of the whole hall. Bacchanal Buffet

Beauty & Essex

Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge

The Chandelier

Three levels of lounge wrapped inside a two-story cascade of crystal. Not a restaurant, but a perfect first stop for a birthday toast. Tip: ask for the Verbena. Electra Cocktail Club

Sparrow + Wolf

Chef Brian Howard’s Chinatown spot is one of the most exciting rooms in the valley, with live-fire cooking and global influences. He was named a James Beard finalist again in 2026, and it shows on the plate. Tip: my top birthday pick for a true food person, full stop. Lotus of Siam

One of the most celebrated Thai restaurants in America, and it is ours. Bold Northern Thai cooking, a warm unpretentious room, and a famous Riesling list. Other Mama

Carson Kitchen

Chubby Cattle

Superfrico

The Golden Tiki

A windowless, open-24-hours tiki wonderland with animatronic surprises, celebrity shrunken heads, and strong drinks in skull mugs. They refreshed the food and cocktail menu this summer. Peppermill Restaurant & Fireside Lounge

Blackout Dining in the Dark

A multi-course tasting menu served in complete darkness, which heightens every other sense and turns dinner into an adventure. The menu is plant-based, and most guests cannot tell.
