The Barbershop: A Real Barbershop Hiding a Bar
I’ve lived here since I was five, and this is one of my favorite doors on the whole Strip. Out front, an actual working barbershop. In the back, a full Prohibition-era saloon with live music most nights.
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails is exactly what it sounds like at the front counter, a fully functioning barbershop with straight-razor shaves and haircuts on Level 1 of The Cosmopolitan. Walk to the back of the shop and there’s an unassuming door marked as a janitor’s closet. Push through it and the room opens into a gorgeous Prohibition-inspired parlor, swanky sofas, rich woodwork, and a full whiskey bar.
By evening, the saloon side takes over with live music, karaoke on Tuesdays, and a whiskey list built around modern takes on vintage classics. It’s one of the few speakeasies on the Strip that also runs an actual full-service business up front, which makes the reveal genuinely surprising the first time.
You can book ahead, and it’s worth it
Unlike most speakeasies on this list, The Barbershop accepts reservations and I’d recommend one, especially on the nights with live music. Walk-ins are welcome too, but a booked table skips the uncertainty.

How the night actually works
Walk in through the barbershop
Enter from the main casino floor on Level 1, it looks and functions like a real barbershop because it is one.
Head to the back door
Look for the door marked as a janitor’s closet near the back of the shop.
Push through into the saloon
The room opens into a full Prohibition-style bar with couches, a stage, and a whiskey list.
Check the live music calendar
If a specific show or theme night matters to your visit, confirm the schedule on the official site first.
It’s one of the few speakeasies where the front business is completely real, not just set dressing for the door.
