I have lived in Las Vegas since I was five, and Honey Salt is one of those neighborhood restaurants that makes me proud of what we have out here away from the Strip. It is warm, it is seasonal, and it never feels rushed, which is exactly what I want on a birthday when the point is the conversation, not the show.

Honey Salt has a farmhouse-chic feel that manages to be comfortable without feeling casual. It is the kind of room where you can hear the person across the table, which makes it one of my favorite picks for a birthday dinner that is more about connection than spectacle.
