The Chandelier is one of the first places I take out of town friends when they visit, and it is one of my go to stops for a birthday night out. You walk into this shimmering curtain of crystal and it just feels like an occasion. It is not a restaurant, so I would not build a whole dinner around it, but as a first stop for a toast before you head to eat, it is hard to beat.

A Living Wall of Light
The Chandelier is built around a shimmering, beaded curtain of light that wraps three separate levels of lounge, each with its own personality. It is part art exhibit, part playground, part cocktail bar, and it is right in the middle of the casino floor so it has energy at almost any hour.
Ask for the Verbena
The Verbena is the drink to try here, a tequila cocktail with yuzu sour, ginger syrup, and lemon verbena, topped with an edible flower garnish that gives your mouth a genuine tingling sensation. It runs around fourteen dollars and is one of the more talked about cocktails on the Strip, so it makes for a fun birthday moment.
Address, Hours, and What to Expect
You will find The Chandelier at The Cosmopolitan, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV. The main ground floor level is open 24 hours daily, the mezzanine level runs daily from 5pm to 2am, and the top level is open Monday through Thursday from 11am to 3am and Friday through Sunday from 9am to 3am.
There is no formal dress code, though most guests dress it up a bit for a night out on the Strip.
It is a walk in lounge, no reservations needed, but it can get crowded fast, especially in the evenings, so grab a spot early if you want to settle in.
