The Best Pools in Las Vegas

From giant Strip beach clubs to the quiet locals’ pools out in the suburbs, here are the pools worth your day in 2026. A few old favorites have closed or changed names, so I have flagged those up top so you are not chasing a pool that is gone.

First, What Has Changed

Closed for good: The Mirage closed in 2024 and is being rebuilt as the Hard Rock Las Vegas. The Tropicana closed and was imploded in 2024 to make room for a new ballpark. Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho, and Fiesta Henderson all closed and have been demolished. Hooters (later OYO) has closed as well.

Same pool, new name: Bally’s is now Horseshoe Las Vegas (the Blu Pool, open year round). The Stratosphere is now The STRAT. SLS is now Sahara Las Vegas. Monte Carlo is now Park MGM. The old Hard Rock Hotel on Paradise is now Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

The pools worth your day right now

Most resort pools are for hotel guests, most are seasonal, and dayclubs usually run a cover and a 21-and-over rule. Hours and pricing move around by season, so confirm with the property before you go. With that said, here are my picks across the Strip, downtown, and the locals’ side of town.

Circa · Downtown · 21+

Stadium Swim at Circa

The one that changed the game downtown. Six tiered pools facing a giant screen wall, open year round and heated in winter. It is a sports-watching, all-day party more than a quiet swim, and it is adults only.

Mandalay Bay · South Strip

Mandalay Bay Beach

Eleven acres with a real sand beach, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The best pick if you want a full water day without leaving the Strip, and one of the more family-friendly of the big resort pools.

Caesars Palace · Center Strip

Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis

A cluster of Roman-inspired pools spread across a huge, statue-lined deck, including the adults-only Venus club. The classic grand Vegas pool experience.

The Cosmopolitan · Center Strip

The Cosmopolitan Pool District

Three distinct pools, including the Boulevard Pool overlooking the Strip and the high-energy Marquee Dayclub. A stylish, see-and-be-seen scene.

Golden Nugget · Downtown

The Tank at Golden Nugget

A three-story waterslide that shoots you through a live shark tank. Downtown’s signature pool and a genuine only-in-Vegas moment, good for families too.

Flamingo · Center Strip

Flamingo GO Pool and Wildlife Habitat

A lively center-Strip pool and dayclub with a family pool alongside, plus the free flamingo and wildlife habitat next door. Central and easy to reach.

Bellagio · Center Strip

Bellagio Pool Courtyard

A refined courtyard of pools framed by fountains and manicured gardens. Elegant and calmer than the party pools, with a European-style option.

Wynn and Encore · North Strip

Wynn and Encore Pools

Beautifully landscaped resort pools plus the Encore Beach Club for the party crowd. Polished, upscale, and one of the prettiest pool settings in town.

Virgin Hotels · Off-Strip (formerly Hard Rock)

Virgin Hotels Pool and Élia Beach Club

The old Hard Rock Hotel is now Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, and its multi-acre pool and beach club are a short ride off the Strip, with a livelier vibe on event days.

Red Rock Resort · Summerlin (Locals)

Red Rock Resort Backyard

The locals’ favorite. A resort-quality pool with cabanas and a sandy-beach section out in Summerlin, with far more elbow room than the Strip and Red Rock Canyon views.

Green Valley Ranch · Henderson (Locals)

Green Valley Ranch Backyard

Henderson’s answer to a resort pool day, with a palm-lined pool, cabanas, and a relaxed grown-up scene next to The District shops and restaurants.

Horseshoe · Center Strip (formerly Bally’s)

Blu Pool at Horseshoe

A calmer, budget-friendlier center-Strip option that is open year round, which is rare on the Strip. Good if you want to swim without the club-scene volume.
