I have lived in Las Vegas since I was five, and Absinthe is still the show I have the hardest time recommending — not because it is bad, but because it is not for everyone and people book it without reading a word about it.
It is a small tent behind the fountains at Caesars Palace, the acrobatics are genuinely world-class and terrifyingly close, and the comedy between the acts is crude, profane, and aimed squarely at grown-ups. If that sounds like a great night, it is one of the best in town. If you are looking for something you could bring your mother-in-law to, keep scrolling and let me point you somewhere else.

It really is 18 and over
This is not a soft guideline. The Spiegeltent is an adults-only room and identification is checked. If anyone in your group is under 18, pick a different show — there are plenty of great ones.
Understand what “raunchy” means here
The official description is “unapologetically raunchy.” That means constant profanity, explicit sexual humor, and jokes at the audience’s expense. Nothing is bleeped and nothing is softened.
The front row is a participation seat
Acts involve audience interaction and physical contact. If you do not want to be pulled into a bit or teased by name, sit back a few rows. If that is exactly what you want, sit up front.
It is loud, bright, and hazy
The venue warns that sound and lighting levels can be as intense as a loud concert, with flashing lights, strobes, and haze. Worth knowing if you are sensitive to any of that.
Build in time on the plaza
The tent sits outdoors on the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace, so you are walking the Strip to get there. Give yourself margin, and check the official box office for current showtimes rather than trusting a third-party listing.
