Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas: All 5 Shows and Which One to See

Five resident productions, five completely different nights on the Strip — here’s how to pick yours.

More Things to Do in Vegas →

I’ve lived here my whole life, and Cirque du Soleil is one of those things I never stop recommending to friends and clients who are new to town or just visiting. There are currently five resident Cirque productions on the Strip, each with its own theater, its own tone, and its own kind of “wait, how did they just do that?” moment. If you’re trying to decide which one is worth your night (or your whole trip), here’s what each show actually is and who it’s best for.

The 5 Cirque du Soleil Shows on the Strip Right Now

1

“O” — Bellagio

Aquatic spectacle · the bucket-list pick

Performed in, on, and above a 1.5-million-gallon pool, “O” blends synchronized swimming, high diving, and acrobatics into something genuinely surreal. It’s been running at the Bellagio for over 25 years, and it’s usually the one locals point first-timers toward. Tip: book early — it sells out further in advance than the others.

2

KÀ — MGM Grand

Epic story · wildest stagecraft in Vegas

KÀ is built around a colossal moving stage that tilts, rotates, and turns the theater itself into part of the story, following twins separated in an epic battle. It’s less “circus,” more full-blown theatrical spectacle. Tip: sit a little further back for this one — the wide shots of the stage transformations are half the show.

3

Michael Jackson ONE — Mandalay Bay

Concert-circus tribute · best for music lovers

Part concert, part circus, ONE is built entirely around Michael Jackson’s catalog, staged in a surround-sound theater designed specifically for it. If you’d rather feel like you’re at a concert than at a circus, this is the one to book. Tip: it plays especially well for MJ fans of any age — the crowd tends to get loud.

4

Mystère — Treasure Island

Playful classic · the most family-friendly option

Mystère was Cirque’s original Vegas show, and it’s stayed the most whimsical and kid-appropriate of the five. If you’re bringing grandparents or grandkids, or it’s someone’s first-ever Cirque show, this is usually the easiest entry point. Tip: it’s a great pick if your group has a wide age range and you want everyone equally entertained.

5

Mad Apple — New York-New York

Nightclub energy · the grown-up, no-kids option

Cirque’s newest resident Vegas production mixes acrobatics with live music, stand-up comedy, and magic in a livelier, nightclub-style atmosphere. It’s the one I’d point a bachelorette party or a date night toward. Tip: the comedy segments mean the vibe (and the language) is more adult than the others.

Which Show Should You Pick?

Traveling with kids or grandparents?

Go with Mystère at Treasure Island. It’s playful, colorful, and the least likely to go over anyone’s head.

Only seeing one Cirque show, ever?

Most locals and longtime visitors will point you to “O” at the Bellagio. It’s the one that’s been running the longest for a reason.

Want something with zero kids around?

Mad Apple at New York-New York has the most adult, nightclub-style energy of the five.

More into music than acrobatics?

Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay is built like a concert first and a circus second.

Want the biggest, most theatrical spectacle?

KÀ at the MGM Grand is built around a massive transforming stage and a full storyline — it feels more like an epic than a circus act.

Before You Go

A few things worth knowing

Every one of these shows has its own custom-built theater inside its resort, so plan a little extra time to find the theater entrance (it’s not always near the main casino floor). Showtimes and dark nights shift throughout the year, so always confirm the current schedule on the official Cirque du Soleil site or directly with the resort before you book. Ticket prices vary a lot by date and seating section — I’d rather send you to the official box office for accurate pricing than guess.
