AREA15: Las Vegas’ Ultimate Immersive Playground

Part art gallery, part theme park, part night out — AREA15 is the most surreal few hours you can spend in Las Vegas, and it just keeps getting bigger.

More Things to Do in Vegas →

I’ve lived in Las Vegas most of my life, and AREA15 is one of those places I send everyone — visiting family, clients new to town, friends who think they’ve already “seen Vegas.” It sits just a few minutes off the Strip on Rancho, and the second you walk in you realize it’s not a mall and it’s not a casino. It’s a whole immersive district of art, technology, rides, bars, and experiences you can’t find anywhere else. Best part for locals and families: walking the district and taking in the art is free, and parking is free too.

What is AREA15?

AREA15 is an immersive entertainment complex that blends art, technology, and nightlife into one walkable space. You buy tickets for the individual experiences you want, but wandering the halls — giant sculptures, digital art, glowing installations — costs nothing. It works for a family afternoon, a date night, or a group of friends bar-hopping through some of the most creative spaces in the city.

The must-see attractions

The Anchor · Immersive Art

Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart

The one everyone talks about. What looks like a quirky supermarket is a doorway into a 52,000-square-foot alternate universe built by 300+ artists — secret passages, mind-bending rooms, and a story you piece together as you explore. Plan on a couple of hours and let the kids lead.

Newer · Year-Round Horror

Universal Horror Unleashed

Universal brought its haunt expertise to Vegas year-round — multiple walk-through haunted houses, live scare actors, plus themed bars and food. Not for little ones, but a huge draw for thrill-seekers who love Halloween all year.

Newer · Film World

The John Wick Experience

Step inside the world of the films — The Continental hotel made real, interactive missions, and a themed cocktail lounge. A must for fans of the franchise.

New for 2026 · Family Favorite

Museum of Ice Cream

A nearly 30,000-square-foot flagship packed with colorful, interactive rooms — including the famous sprinkle pool and an ice cream buffet. Bright, playful, and made for photos and kids.

Rides, VR & Lounges

Eye Dropper, Interstellar Arc & the Looper

Drop into the psychedelic Eye Dropper thrill ride, blast off on the Interstellar Arc VR adventure, or take a spin on the Looper — a trippy carousel with its own cocktail bar. There are also virtual-reality flights like Birdly and the trippy Wink World mirror rooms.

Eat, Drink & Play

Bars, arcades & axe throwing

Grab a craft cocktail under the digital tree at Oddwood, play at the Emporium arcade-bar, or test your aim at Dueling Axes. There’s always something happening after dark.

New & coming to AREA15 in 2026

AREA15 is in the middle of its biggest expansion yet, with more than a dozen new tenants arriving through the year. Recent and announced additions include House Rules (competitive socializing with duckpin bowling and ice curling), plus a wave of new dining — Fuku fried chicken from chef David Chang, Good Company wagyu smash burgers, Alien Pizza Party, Nacho Daddy, Chilango’s Tacos, Cosmic Pretzel, and Saint Honoré doughnuts & beignets — and new retail like MINISO and Dolls Kill. Still to come: iFLY indoor skydiving and Altair, a cinematic event venue built inside a reimagined Boeing 747. Openings roll out over the year, so check the official site for what’s live during your visit.
