You will see it listed on menus and signage simply as Yardbird these days, since the restaurant quietly dropped the old Southern Table and Bar name from its branding, but it is the same team, the same bourbon wall, and thankfully the same chicken. If you want a night that is loud, a little indulgent, and full of things to pass around the table, this is one of my favorite calls at The Venetian.

The Vibe
A Big, Warm, Loud Room
Yardbird sits right on The Venetian’s restaurant row with a spacious dining room, a long bourbon bar, and a genuinely warm staff who treat a birthday table like it is their favorite table of the night. It gets lively, especially on weekend evenings, so it is a great pick if your group wants energy rather than hushed conversation.
What to Order
The Fried Chicken and Watermelon and Waffles
The fried chicken is brined for 27 hours before it ever hits the fryer, and it shows. For a birthday group, order the chicken and watermelon and waffles as your table’s centerpiece. It comes out family-style and gives everyone something to reach for.
The Dangerous Biscuits and Bourbon
The biscuits earned the nickname dangerous for a reason. They arrive warm with honey butter and disappear fast, so order a second round early. Pair them with something off the bourbon list, since Yardbird carries one of the more serious whiskey collections on the Strip, and the cocktails are easy to drink without being too sweet.

Hours: Open daily, roughly 7am to 11pm, with brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours can shift around holidays and events, so it is worth a quick check before you head over.
Reservations: Recommended, especially for a birthday party or any group of four or more. Book through The Venetian’s dining page or by calling ahead so your whole table gets seated together.
