#1 – The Blue Man Group

The Blue Man Group seems to be quite popular among show attendees of all ages, and advertises themselves as a multi-generational entertainment experience. Held inside the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino located on Las Vegas Boulevard, you can watch as these blue guys speak no words, yet entertain the masses with music and comedy. This funny group also uses multimedia theatrics and has been known to make fun of modern technology. Tickets for The Blue Man Group’s 90-110 minute show are priced at about $4o each and can be purchased on their website by clicking here. Please note that children under the age of three are not allowed.

#2 – Michael Jackson One

If you loved Michael Jackson or his innovative music style, you won’t want to miss Cirque du Soleil’s show called Michael Jackson One. The show depicts four societal rejects who enter a magical world inspired by this exceptional artist; however, Michael is still the star of the show. You will enjoy watching as each of these characters don something once worn by Jackson, the single glove, iconic shoes, his sunglasses and his fedora style hat. Throw some amazing acrobatics, cutting edge high definition video and lights, vivacious dance routines, and killer (or should we say thriller) music, and you have all the ingredients for an awesome night in Las Vegas! #3 – Jeff Dunham

If you’ve never heard of Jeff Dunham and his gang of traveling puppets, you’re in for a real treat! Planet Hollywood’s Las Vegas location regularly features slapstick comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, and tickets can be purchased for around $119 each. While a few of his jokes are for the adults, many parents will find his show also acceptable for children and teens. Normally held in the Donnie and Marie Showroom, you will enjoy the humorous offerings of one of the most sought-after comedians today. You’re sure to meet Melvin, Achmed, Walter, Sweet Daddy Dee, Peanut, Jose Jalapeno and other puppets in Dunham’s arsenal of laughs.

#4 – Le Reve: The Dream

This local favorite has also been voted as the ‘Best Production Show in Las Vegas’ for an impressive four years in a row, and if you have ever seen a show at the Wynn Theater in Las Vegas, you will know how monumental this accomplishment truly is! Le Rêve’s ‘The Dream’ is an exciting and incredible aqua theater, featuring high dives, underwater performances by amazing performers and fire and water feats from beginning to end. Another show that is good for all ages, The Dream requires tickets which can be purchased here for $100-134 and up, depending on seating location and VIP options.

#5 – Rock of Ages

This top Las Vegas show advertises “Big Songs, Big Dreams, Big Hair” and tickets start at a very reasonable $49-55 for nightly 8 p.m. viewings at the Rock of Ages Theatre on Las Vegas Boulevard. You will enjoy approximately 28 different songs from the days of big hair bands, such as Poison, Styx, Bon Jovi, Jefferson Starship and more. The show is based off of the broadway hit and movie called Rock of Ages, in which a young Detroit boy named Drew falls in love with small town Sherrie on LA’s Sunset Strip in the year 1987. Lasting about 130 minutes, this live show in Las Vegas has received five Tony awards, and is a must-see among music lovers.

#6 – Terry Fator

If you find yourself in the city of Las vegas, gather $65 for a ticket to see Terry Fator at the Terry Fator Theatre on Las Vegas Boulevard. This comedian can also be enjoyed at The Mirage but it is important to note that children under five are not permitted. Originally discovered on ‘America’s Got Talent’, this comedian has put together a 90 show filled with songs and puppets. Listen close because this guy has a vocal range that’s highly unusual, allowing him to sing duets as he entertains the masses. Fator’s popularity doesn’t seem to be fading, as the mayor recently named March 14th as Terry Fator day, and he’s won several other awards too.

#7 – Jersey Boys

For $60 and up, you can purchase a ticket to see one of the best Las Vegas shows available, Jersey Boys. This award winning show is appropriate for all ages but those who recall listening to such tunes as ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and ‘Walk Like a Man’ will be euphoric. Jersey Boys is a recollection of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ rise to stardom that began in the 1960’s. When you purchase a ticket for Jersey Boys, you can expect to see hilarious comedy, intense drama, and of course, lively dancing and music, making your evening on the Las Vegas strip one to remember forever.

#8 – Purple Reign – The Prince Tribute Story

Travel to the The WestGate Resort Casino on Paradise Road and have a seat at the Shimmer Cabaret for one of the best shows in Las Vegas. Upon purchasing your ticket for only $49 or higher, you will enjoy an entertaining tribute to Prince and his music. This Las Vegas show, which began in college clubs, has now won best impersonator thanks to the talents of tribute artist Jason Tenner, as well as other impressive awards and the rave reviews keep pouring in. If you loved such songs as ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Little Red Corvette’, this may well become your favorite show of all.

#9 – Beatles Love

The Mirage is home to many of the best shows in Las Vegas, such as this beloved musical called Beatles Love. Celebrate the legacy created by the Beatles, a fabulous foursome (Paul, John, George and Ringo) known for such songs as ‘I Wanna Hold Your Hand’, ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Let It Be’. Performances are held nightly from Thursdays through Wednesdays, and tickets can be purchased from $79-180, depending on seat location and date, but if you watch for specials, you may be able to find these tickets as low as $60. #10 – Zumanity

Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity is part burlesque, part cabaret, and can be enjoyed by those who are eighteen years of age or older at the New York, New York Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. This show offers adult entertainment on Las Vegas Boulevard, where you can expect to see a lot of nudity, acrobats and antics as these artists serve up some seductive entertainment. Tickets are approximately $75-140 and Zumanity seems to be holding steady at four star ratings across several review sites. Expect to see a tub scene, a vibrant performance on a stripper inspired pole and of course, acrobats in the air.

#11 – Raiding the Rock Vault

If you love rock and roll, this is a Las Vegas show you won’t want to miss! Raiding the Rock Vault is a great name for this rock music inspired show, comprised of legendary rock and roll musicians such as Doug Aldrich of Whitesnake, Stephanie Calvert of Starship, Howard Leese of Heart and Bad Company, Robin McAuley of Survivor, Hugh McDonald of Bon Jovi and many other well-known artists. Voted number one by numerous authorities, it will cost you about $59-99 to enjoy this show or get the ticket upgrade for $135 for some cool merchandise that would make great Las Vegas souvenirs! Raiding the Rock Vault is a show that is exclusive to The Tropicana Las Vegas.

#12 – Absinthe Las Vegas

For Absinthe, you must visit fabulous Caesar’s Palace for a fantastic carnival inspired Las Vegas feature, set on a small circular shaped stage for a more intimate experience. The performers provide racy adult entertainment that promises to be hilarious, and is not recommended for those who are timid. Tickets are available for $99 and up, and show goers will enjoy watching breathtaking feats containing all the elements of virtuosity, danger, strength, and balance along with burlesque numbers and outrageous stunts. Hosted by the foul-mouth ‘ringmaster’ called ‘Gazillionaire’, he and his assistant, Penny Pibbets, are sure to entertain you.

#13 – Jabbawockeez: PRISM

Yes, this Las Vegas show is as unforgettable as its name! Voted as one of the best family shows in the area, world renowned Jabbawockeez offers a new show that can be enjoyed at the Luxor Las Vegas called PRISM. All ages will love this color and music celebration that is sure to inspire the imaginations of young and old alike, featuring amazing choreography, fascinating lasers, awesome music, and unforgettable special effects. Sit on the edge of your seat as the performers of Jabbawockeez entertain, wearing white masks and cool dance routines. Tickets can be purchased for $60-90 here.

#14 – Chris Angel: Believe

If you’ve heard of Chris Angel, you already know how awesome this Las Vegas show is going to be! Named the best magician in Las Vegas as well as Entertainer of the Year, Chris Angel’s newest show, Believe, is filled with mind-blowing illusions and can be enjoyed at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. Tickets can be purchased online and you can expect to pay $65-143 for performances which are available from Wednesday through Saturdays. You can expect to witness levitation and disappearing acts as well as many other optical illusions. Get ready for some exciting entertainment if you see Believe, as Chris Angel is THE most famous magician in history with more than five million followers and a best selling book.

#15 – Evil Dead the Musical

You can see Evil Dead the Musical at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, and if you sit up front, close to the stage, you might even get splattered by ‘blood’. This musical is based on ‘The Evil Dead’, a cult film released in 1981, and features 4D excitement and an interactive stage. While the name seems foreboding and scary, you might actually laugh all the way through! From Sirc Michaels Productions, this show is set in an abandoned cabin where five college kids fight to stay alive after releasing something evil that turns them into demons, one by one. This Las Vegas show can be enjoyed Tuesdays through Saturdays and lasts two hours. Tickets are $44.99 and up, and you must be at least ten years of age to attend.

#16 – Penn & Teller

Visit Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino to see the performance of Penn & Teller, two magicians that combine hilarious comedy and amazing magic tricks that often use knives, guns and fire-eating women. Oh… and a cow. Often called the ‘Bad Boys of Magic’, their act blows that old ‘rabbit in the hat’ trick out of the running. This large theatre can seat nearly 1500 people and tickets can be purchased for approximately $75 for Saturdays through Wednesdays. One of the great things about Penn & Teller is their commitment to the audience. After every show, these guys have a meet and greet with anyone who attends their show, which is pretty awesome.
