I’ve lived in Las Vegas since I was five, and Boulder City has always felt like a completely different pace of life just a short drive from the Strip. Art in the Park is my favorite reason to make that drive. For one weekend every fall, the town’s tree-lined parks fill with hundreds of artists, live music, and the smell of festival food, and it genuinely feels like a small-town art fair, because that’s exactly what it is, just a really, really good one.

One of the Southwest’s Biggest Juried Art Shows
Art in the Park draws around 300 artists and roughly 100,000 visitors to Boulder City’s historic downtown every year, making it one of the largest outdoor art festivals in the Southwest. It spreads across several of the town’s shaded parks, so it never feels as packed as a single-venue festival even with that many people coming through.
Fine Art, Crafts, Live Music & Food
Artists compete in juried categories including Fine Art, Fine Craft, and Traditional Craft, with a Best in Show award given each year, so the quality on display is genuinely high. Between the booths, you’ll find live music, artist demonstrations, festival food and drink vendors, and raffle prize giveaways. It’s an easy, walkable event that’s good for browsing for a couple of hours or making a whole day of it.
When It’s Happening in 2026
Art in the Park runs Saturday and Sunday, October 3–4, 2026, typically from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It’s free to attend, and since it’s in early October, mornings can still be warm, so plan accordingly.
Address, Parking & Getting There
The festival spreads across Wilbur Square, Bicentennial Park, and North and South Escalante Parks in downtown Boulder City, centered around 401 California Ave, Boulder City, NV 89005, roughly 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Downtown streets close to make room for the festival, so plan to park a few blocks out and walk in, and wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be covering several parks. Bring cash for smaller vendor booths and sunscreen for the open lawn areas.
