Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge: The Perfect Birthday Toast at Resorts World

Art Deco glamour, a serious champagne program, and a room built for dressing up and raising a glass before the real party starts.

Gatsby’s is one of those rooms that makes you glad you got dressed up. I love bringing friends here for a toast, the giant color changing orbs overhead and those billowy curtains set a mood you just do not get most other places on the Strip. It is not a dinner spot, but for a birthday, it might be my favorite place to start or end the night with a glass of something bubbly.

The Vibe

Roaring Twenties Glamour

The room leans into Art Deco style with color changing orbs hanging from the ceiling and billowy white curtains that separate the quieter early evening lounge from the higher energy dance scene that takes over after 10pm. It starts elegant and builds into a genuinely fun party as the night goes on.

What to Order

A Champagne Program Worth Exploring

Gatsby’s pours around a dozen champagnes by the glass, and the champagne flight pairs several vintages with truffle chips and dark chocolate, a fun way to sample your way through the list. Ask about their rolling champagne cart service if you want your toast brought right to the table. Beyond bubbles, the Daisy’s Sour and the Hibiscus Paloma are both worth ordering, and if you are celebrating, ask what is on the secret menu.

Before You Go

Address, Hours, and Dress

You will find Gatsby’s inside Resorts World Las Vegas at 3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, NV 89109. It is open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 4pm to 1am, and Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 2am, with happy hour daily from 4 to 6pm.

Guests are encouraged to dress in stylish, upscale attire that fits the elegant setting. It is 21 and over to enter.

Walk ins are welcome, but tables and bottle service book up fast on weekends, so reserve ahead if you want a spot guaranteed. Minimum spends for table service vary by night, so call to confirm current rates.

This is one of my 39 favorite spots in my Las Vegas birthday dinner guide.
