For years, people asked me about a “Strawberry Festival” out at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, so I went looking to see when this year’s would be. Here’s the honest answer, plus the spring outings I’d actually point a friend toward right now.

Is there still a Las Vegas Strawberry Festival at Floyd Lamb Park?
From everything I can find, no — this little local festival appears to no longer be held, and it hasn’t returned in recent years. It isn’t listed on the City of Las Vegas events calendar, and the local farmers-market organizers don’t have it on their schedule. (If you go searching, almost every “strawberry festival” result these days is actually in Florida, Louisiana, or California, not Nevada.) So rather than send you chasing a date that isn’t there, let me point you to the spring outings that genuinely happen here now — starting with the park itself.
Where I’d Actually Go This Spring
Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs
Even without a festival, this is still the reason I send people out here. It’s a peaceful 680-acre park with green lawns, shade trees, four fishing ponds, and yes — the resident peacocks that wander the picnic areas. You can walk, picnic, fish (with a Nevada license), or just let the kids run. Entry is $6 per vehicle at the gatehouse (card only). Tip: spring hours run 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the park has several free-entry days through the year — including a free fishing day on June 13, 2026.
Las Vegas Farmers Markets
If it’s the fresh-produce, local-vendor vibe you were after, this is where it lives now. The Las Vegas Farmers Market runs weekly markets you can plan a morning around: Thursdays at The District at Green Valley Ranch, Saturdays at Downtown Summerlin, and Sundays at The Uncommons. Expect seasonal produce, baked goods, flowers, and handmade goods. There’s also an Earth Day Celebration in mid-April with crafts, exhibits, and food trucks, plus a spring plant sale and gardening classes earlier in the season. Tip: Nevada-resident pricing is a nice discount — bring your ID.
Clark County Fair & Rodeo
If you want the full carnival-and-funnel-cake festival energy, this is the real spring tradition around here. The Clark County Fair & Rodeo runs April 8–12, 2026 at the fairgrounds in Logandale, with PRCA rodeo action, carnival rides, livestock and animals, live entertainment, vendors, and all the classic fair food. Tip: it’s a scenic drive up through the Moapa Valley — make a day of it and leave early to beat the afternoon crowds.
Gilcrease Orchard
For the u-pick, come-home-with-a-basket feeling, Gilcrease Orchard is our local working farm. It’s best known for fall pumpkins, but the orchard rotates through seasonal fruits and vegetables and sells fresh produce at its farm stand. Tip: what’s ready to pick changes constantly and hours are limited, so always check their current picking list and open days before you drive out — and bring cash.
