The Gardens Park in Summerlin: Farmers Markets, Festivals & Things to Do
An 18-acre neighborhood park in the heart of Summerlin — plus the real, current community events worth putting on your calendar.
More Things to Do in Vegas →People still ask me about the old Summerlin “Strawberry Festival” at The Gardens Park, so let me be straight with you: that was a small community event from Summerlin’s early years, and it isn’t a current annual festival — you won’t find it on the official Summerlin calendar anymore, and the Tuesday farmers market that once set up at Gardens Park has since moved to Downtown Summerlin. The good news? The Gardens Park is very much alive and one of my favorite easygoing spots on the west side, and Summerlin still throws some genuinely great community events every year. As a lifelong Las Vegan, here’s the honest, up-to-date lay of the land so you know what actually happens here now.

About The Gardens Park
An 18-acre community park in Gardens Village
The Gardens Park sits at 10401 Garden Park Drive, tucked into the Gardens Village neighborhood on the west side of the valley. It’s one of Summerlin’s larger neighborhood parks — a lighted basketball court, two lighted tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a skate park, bocce and horseshoe areas, children’s play areas, shaded picnic pavilions, a walking path, a peaceful labyrinth, and public art. There’s also a big open festival lawn, which is exactly why community events have gathered here over the years. The Gardens Community Center on-site runs classes and programs for residents, and the park itself is open daily. It’s the kind of relaxed, walkable green space that makes this side of town feel so livable — no Strip crowds, just neighbors.
Summerlin’s Real Current Events
Las Vegas Farmers Market at Downtown Summerlin
This is the farmers market to know now — it runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Pavilion in Downtown Summerlin. Expect fresh Southwest produce, citrus and seasonal greens, European-style baked goods, local pastries, nuts, fresh flowers, and bedding plants. It’s the current home of the market that used to set up at Gardens Park. Tip: Go early for the best produce and easy parking, then walk over to the shops and restaurants.
Summerlin Festival of Arts
This is the big one — a beloved outdoor fine-art festival that celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, running October 9–11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin. You’ll find work from more than 100 juried artists, live entertainment, and children’s activities. It’s free, family-friendly, and one of the most established annual events in Southern Nevada. Tip: Mornings are cooler and less crowded — ideal if you’re bringing kids.
Fitness on The Lawn
A free community workout series held on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. on The Lawn. It’s an easy, no-pressure way to move outdoors with neighbors when the weather’s nice — the kind of low-key routine that makes living out here feel like a community. Tip: Bring your own mat and water, and get there a few minutes early to claim a spot.
Seasonal favorites: Wine Walk & Be My Neighbor Day
Summerlin sprinkles special events through the calendar, too. The New Vista Wine Walk (September 26, 2026) is an evening stroll-and-sip that supports a local nonprofit, and Be My Neighbor Day (October 3, 2026) is a free family morning with activities and community fun. Dates shift a bit year to year, so it’s worth checking before you plan around them. Tip: These popular events can require tickets or RSVPs — confirm the current details before heading out.
The details
The Gardens Park: 10401 Garden Park Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135, in the Gardens Village area of Summerlin — an easy drive from most west-side neighborhoods.
The market & festivals: The Las Vegas Farmers Market and the Festival of Arts are both at Downtown Summerlin (1980 Festival Plaza Drive), not at Gardens Park — it’s a short drive between the two.
Dates & hours: Park hours, market times, and event dates can change seasonally. For the most current, reliable details, check the official Summerlin events calendar before you go.
