REAL BODIES at Horseshoe Las Vegas
A jaw-dropping look inside the human body — real, preserved, and beautifully displayed — right on the Strip.
More Things to Do in Vegas →I’ve lived in Las Vegas my whole life, and I still send friends and clients to REAL BODIES when they want something a little different from the usual shows and buffets. If you loved this one when it was at Bally’s, good news — it’s the same exhibition, just at the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (Bally’s became Horseshoe, same building, same spot on the Strip). It’s equal parts science museum, art installation, and “whoa, that’s really inside me?” moment, and it works beautifully for curious kids, date nights, and anyone fascinated by how we’re built.

What you’ll see inside
Real, preserved human bodies
This isn’t plastic or props. The exhibition features more than 20 real, perfectly preserved human specimens and over 200 anatomical artifacts, displayed using a polymer preservation process that stops decay and lets you study muscle, bone, and organ in incredible detail. It’s the closest most of us will ever get to seeing exactly how the human body is put together.
The Anatomist’s Study
The journey opens with a look at how our understanding of anatomy evolved over centuries — the curiosity, the discoveries, and the people who first mapped what’s under our skin. It sets the stage and makes everything that follows feel that much more meaningful.
Systems of the Body
This is the heart of the exhibit — galleries dedicated to the respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems and how they all work together to keep you alive. The immersive design pulls you in: you get a real feel for the breath moving through the lungs and the blood flowing through the body, so it’s an experience, not just a display.
The Love Room
A favorite for couples — this section explores what happens physically inside us when we feel emotion, right down to the Heart Wall. It’s a sweet, surprisingly moving way to close out the walkthrough and a big reason REAL BODIES makes a memorable date night.
Why I recommend it
Educational, but never boring
If you have a kid who lights up at science — or one who’s dreaming about medicine someday — there’s enough here to keep them talking for the whole car ride home. It’s a genuinely different way to spend an afternoon on the Strip: hands-off screens, eyes on something real, and everyone leaves knowing a little more about themselves.
