Picasso is permanently closed
Picasso at Bellagio closed for good in August 2024. If an old listing still shows it as open, or a review site still has it on a “best romantic restaurants” roundup, ignore it — the space is no longer operating as Picasso, and reservations are not being taken.
Prime Steakhouse
For that same Bellagio-lake, fountain-view feeling, I now send people to Prime Steakhouse, Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s steakhouse right on the water at Bellagio. It is still open, still has that unbeatable fountain view, and still feels like a genuine occasion — request a window table and time it around a fountain show, same as you would have at Picasso.
