Le Cirque at Bellagio Is Closing
One of the most intimate French dining rooms in the country is closing its doors for good — here is what to book instead.
Here is the honest update if you are hoping to book Le Cirque at Bellagio: it is closing permanently on August 23, 2026. For years it has been one of my favorite recommendations for an intimate French dinner right on the Bellagio lake, tucked under its signature tented, circus-inspired ceiling. If you can still get a reservation before it closes, it is worth doing — but if you are reading this after that date, or you just cannot get a table in time, let me point you to the room I recommend instead for that same fountain-view, special-occasion dinner.

Le Cirque closes for good on August 23, 2026
Bellagio has announced Le Cirque is permanently closing on August 23, 2026. If you want to experience it before then, book as early as you can — a closing announcement like this tends to fill up the remaining reservations fast. After that date, treat any listing showing it as open as outdated.
Prime Steakhouse
For that same Bellagio-lake, fountain-view feeling once Le Cirque closes, I recommend Prime Steakhouse, Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s steakhouse right on the water at Bellagio. It is open now and for the foreseeable future, has an equally stunning fountain view, and still feels like a genuine occasion — request a window table and time it around a fountain show.
A few local tips
