This is the big one — a city-run facility at the Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex with 23 lighted outdoor hard courts, including a stadium court that has hosted pro and college matches. It’s the closest thing Las Vegas has to a true public tennis hub, so it’s my first suggestion for anyone who wants room to spread out and play. Tip: court fees and reservation rules vary, so confirm current rates and availability on the official Darling Tennis Center site before you go.

Lorenzi Park Tennis Courts

Lorenzi is one of the city’s classic older parks, with public tennis courts tucked among the lake, ballfields, and shade trees. It’s an easy, no-fuss spot to get a game in if you’re closer to the central or downtown side of town. Tip: these are city courts, so play is generally first-come, first-served — check the City of Las Vegas Parks & Recreation site for the latest.

Bruce Trent Park

A well-kept neighborhood park on the northwest side with public tennis courts, walking paths, and a weekly farmers market that draws a crowd. It’s a favorite for families who want to pair a match with a little time at the playground or a stroll. Tip: mornings and evenings are your friend here in summer — the midday sun on hard courts is no joke.

Sunset Park Tennis Courts

Clark County runs eight reservable courts inside sprawling Sunset Park, open to the public daily, with a monthly drop-in reservation system for locking in a specific court and time. Any court that isn’t reserved is up for grabs first-come, first-served, which makes this a dependable option on the southeast side. Tip: reservation windows and fees are set by Clark County Parks & Recreation — check their official site to book and see current pricing.

Summerlin Community Tennis Courts

Summerlin has more than a dozen lighted community courts spread across village parks — including Arbors, Hills, Gardens, Vistas, Ridgebrook, Spotted Leaf, Sagemont, and Reverence. These are maintained for Summerlin residents and reserved through the Summerlin Council’s reservation system, typically with a valid Summerlin resident ID. Tip: reservation cards, hours, and the online booking system are handled by the Summerlin Council — start at the official Summerlin recreation site for the current process.

Mesa Park

A pretty Summerlin village park with tennis courts, ballfields, a playground, and some of the best mountain views you’ll find at a neighborhood park out here. It’s a nice pick if you want to make a morning of it with the kids and still get a set or two in. Tip: like the other Summerlin courts, reservations run through the Summerlin Council — confirm access and booking on their official site.
