What happened to Costa di Mare?
Costa di Mare, the elegant Wynn Las Vegas seafood room you may remember as the Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare, permanently closed in 2021. It was known for whole fish flown in from the Mediterranean and rolled to your table on a cart, so if that is the experience you are chasing, you have not lost it. Wynn opened a new Mediterranean seafood restaurant, Pisces, in that same waterside space, and the whole-fish tradition carries on at a handful of other spots around town. Hours, menus, and pricing change often, so confirm details with the restaurant before you go.
Pisces Bar & Seafare
Wynn’s Mediterranean seafood restaurant on the Lake of Dreams, from Executive Chef Martin Heierling. Think caviar and crudo, seafood platters, dry-aged and daily-fresh fish from the Mediterranean, and house-made pasta. This is the closest thing to Costa di Mare inside Wynn itself.
Estiatorio Milos
The purest match for what Costa di Mare did best. Costas Spiliadis’ famed Greek seafood house displays whole fish on ice and sells it by the pound, flown in daily from the Mediterranean and grilled simply. Order the Milos special and the fresh catch of the day.
Water Grill
A polished, seafood-forward room built around an excellent raw bar and fish flown in from around the world. Strong oysters, crudo, and whole-fish options in a lively Strip setting.
Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
A Vegas classic for a reason. Famous for stone crab in season, Chilean sea bass, and a deep seafood list that pairs with prime steaks. Great for a group where not everyone wants fish.
Mastro’s Ocean Club
A see-and-be-seen fine-dining room inside the sculptural Tree House at Crystals, with fresh seafood towers, whole fish, and the kind of over-the-top presentation Vegas does well.
