How the robot bar actually works

Instead of flagging down a bartender, you order from a touchscreen tablet at your seat. Pick something off the cocktail menu or build your own recipe, hit go, and a pair of robotic arms goes to work overhead — grabbing bottles, measuring pours, shaking, and sending your drink down to the pickup area. Each round comes together in about a minute or two, and the arms tend to show off with a few dance moves while they mix. It’s genuinely fun to watch, even before your drink lands.

Cocktails, mocktails, and build-your-own

The menu runs from classic cocktails to house creations you won’t see anywhere else, and there are non-alcoholic options too, so it works for a mixed group. The build-your-own feature is where it gets fun — you choose your liquor, mixers, and garnishes right on the tablet and let the robots handle the rest. It’s a low-commitment stop: you can pop in for one drink, watch the machines do their thing, and move on to your next Strip adventure.

Now with two Strip locations

Here’s the update a lot of older guides get wrong: The Tipsy Robot now has two homes on the Strip. The original is inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, and there’s a second location inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. Whichever end of the Strip you’re staying on, one of them is probably within an easy walk, so check which is closer before you head out.

Great for groups and celebrations

This is a fun one for bachelorette parties, birthdays, or anyone traveling with a group that likes a little spectacle. There’s no cover charge to walk in and watch — you’re just paying for what you drink — and both locations can host private events if you want to reserve space for a bigger crowd. If a party is why you’re in town, it’s an easy add to the itinerary.

The High Roller

A few minutes up the Strip at The LINQ, the High Roller is one of the tallest observation wheels around. A full rotation takes about half an hour, and the views of the Strip and the valley from the top are hard to beat — especially after dark. Some cabins offer an open-bar option, which pairs nicely with a robot-made cocktail earlier in the evening.

Fly LINQ Zipline

Right in the same LINQ Promenade, the Fly LINQ zipline launches you from a tall tower and sends you soaring over the walkway toward the High Roller. You ride seated, which makes it approachable even if heights aren’t usually your thing, and it’s a quick jolt of adrenaline you can knock out between other stops.

Make a night of it

The beauty of the Strip is how much sits within a short walk. Around either Tipsy Robot location you’ll find shopping, people-watching, dinner spots, and shows — so a quick robot cocktail slots easily into a bigger night out. I always tell visitors to leave room in the schedule to just wander; some of my favorite Vegas moments happen between the plans.

Where: Two Strip locations — Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood (3663 S Las Vegas Blvd, Suite 130) and Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian (3377 Las Vegas Blvd S). Both sit in the heart of the Strip and are easy to reach on foot from nearby resorts.

What to expect: No cover charge to walk in. Order on a tablet, watch the robotic arms mix your drink, and grab it from the pickup area. There are cocktails, house creations, and non-alcoholic options, plus a build-your-own feature. It’s a fun, quick stop rather than an all-night lounge.
