Homes for Sale in Stallion Mountain
A guard gated golf community on the southeast edge of town, built around a course with a genuine history and a wild horse theme running through its clubhouse.
What Stallion Mountain Is Actually Like
The short version, then the details.
Stallion Mountain sits at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway, one of the valley’s original guard gated golf communities.
The golf course itself has a real history. It originally opened as Sunrise Golf Club with three 18 hole courses, then developer Billy Walters bought it in 1997, renamed it Stallion Mountain, and redesigned the clubhouse around a wild horse theme. Golf course architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley significantly reworked the course again in 2004.
I’ve been in Las Vegas since I was five, and Stallion Mountain is one of the communities I point to when buyers want an established guard gated golf lifestyle without the price tag of the west side courses. This is a genuinely moderately priced option with real amenities behind the gate.
The Neighborhoods Inside the Gate
Stallion Mountain isn’t one product, it’s several, all behind the same guard gate.
The Fairways
Homes situated along the golf course itself, generally 1,531 to 2,300 square feet.
The Links
Homes with their own private pool, spa, fitness center, and clubhouse, ranging 1,190 to 1,619 square feet.
The Greens
The largest homes in the community, from 2,476 to 2,881 square feet.
Black Horse Condos
Single story condos from 935 to 1,196 square feet, with gated entry, pool, fountain, and clubhouse.
Worth knowing: Solera at Stallion Mountain, a Del Webb age qualified 55 and older community, sits adjacent with its own approximately 10,000 square foot clubhouse and separate amenities.
The Homes
A real range of sizes and vintages, all inside one guard gate.
Homes here span from compact condos under 1,000 square feet to estate style homes near 2,900 square feet, most built between 1985 and 2005.
Given that build era, it’s worth having systems like roofing, water heaters, and HVAC checked closely on any specific home before making an offer.
Where It Sits
Southeast Las Vegas, at Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway.
The southeast location keeps Stallion Mountain a genuine value relative to guard gated golf communities on the west side of the valley, without sacrificing quick access to the Strip.
Stallion Mountain sits in the 89122 zip code, at Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway in southeast Las Vegas.

None of that makes one better. It makes them different, and I’m happy to walk you through more than one so you can judge in person rather than from photos.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas since I was five years old. I’ve watched this valley grow from a small town into what it is now, and I’ve built my career in real estate here. If you’re thinking about a move, I’d love to talk it through with you.
