What Mountain Falls Is Actually Like

Mountain Falls is a large, still growing master plan in Pahrump, originally entitled by William Lyon Homes under a development agreement approved in late 2002 and allowing for up to 3,200 homes over time.
The community is built around Mountain Falls Golf Club, a championship course, with two resort style pools, a play pool, a fitness center, a multipurpose room and an on-site restaurant. It’s still actively adding new phases, most recently with builder Taylor Morrison developing “Ovation at Mountain Falls,” a 55 and older subdivision within the larger community.
I’ve lived in Las Vegas since I was five, and Pahrump has always been the place valley residents think of when they want more room and a slower pace. Mountain Falls is one of the more amenity rich options out there, genuinely built around its own golf course rather than just sitting near one.
Outside of the Ovation section, Mountain Falls is not age restricted, and I have not confirmed the community is gated.
