A property developer named William P. “Bill” Peccole acquired the land used for the building of the Peccole Ranch master planned community in 1949. The Peccole family continued with the development and went ahead with a master plan in the mid-1980s. The plan divided the land into 22 separate neighborhoods, each to be built by a specific builder.
The family of Bill Peccole also ensured the development of infrastructure to support the properties, such as power lines, water, and sewerage systems.
The passion that the Peccole family showed in developing this area is evident in the beautiful houses, walking trails, and parks that fill Peccole Ranch.
An exciting development in Peccole Ranch is The Palms, which is composed of one, two, or three-bedroom apartments. All apartments come with walk-in closets and there is automatic access to two resort-style swimming pools. Residents also have access to a 24-hour fitness center.
Peccole Ranch Facilities
Peccole Ranch is full of great facilities and attractions to keep residents busy. The master planned community is built on 800 acres of land with a total of 284 acres of residential property.
Red Rock Casino is just a short walk or drive from Peccole Ranch in nearby Summerlin. Residents also have access to a public tennis court in addition to private tennis clubs and volleyball courts. Regal Cinemas is a multiplex cinema located right in the heart of the Peccole Ranch community showing the latest box office releases. Concessions at the cinema are available to students and pensioners.
There are three main local hospitals in the Peccole Ranch area:

- Mountainview Hospital
Peccole Ranch Schools
There are four schools in the Peccole Ranch area. Schools here are included as a part of Clark County School District. One of the key attractions of Peccole Ranch for families is that students attending schools in the area tend to have some of the highest test scores in Las Vegas.

- Clarence Piggot Elementary School
- Sig Rogich Middle School
- Walter Johnson Middle School
- Bonanza High School
Piggot Elementary School has won several awards for excellent standards of education.
Peccole Ranch Parks
The Peccole Ranch community is situated upon hundreds of acres of lush green space. One can’t help but notice how the grass on every driveway is perfectly maintained.
There are two main parks in the Peccole Ranch community area:

- Wellington Park
A stunning set of walking trails wander through the heart of Peccole Ranch with a combined length of 2.9 miles. These trails provide the perfect setting for residents to enjoy some casual walking or more intense jogging in the pleasant Las Vegas weather. An 18-hole disk golf course exclusively for residential use passes through the walking trails.
Peccole Ranch Community Association
As a master planned community, Peccole Ranch has its own homeowners association, named the Peccole Ranch Community Association. The association provides sprinklers for maintenance of green spaces and lawn care to keep the community looking pristine and attractive. The association has an office in the heart of the community that opens Monday to Friday with a team of dedicated officers staff on hand to help you out with any issues you are having in the area.
